Sara Whitehead joined Family Philanthropy Advisors as Office Manager in 2008. Sara was previously working as Office Manager with Hearth Connection, a nonprofit organization dedicated to help people with long histories of homelessness move into and prosper in supportive housing. Sara has rich experience in administration, research and philanthropy, working seven years as a researcher for Wyatt & Jaffe, an executive search firm, and six years as executive assistant to the chief executive of The McKnight Foundation, where her responsibilities included supporting the work of the foundation’s international Collaborative Crop Research Program. Sara also has worked at the Development Office at Columbia University’s Teachers College and developed educational programs for The New Yorker magazine. Sara has a Bachelor’s degree in English from Hunter College and a Master’s degree in the philosophy of education from Columbia University’s Teachers College. | |||||||||||||||||||||||
